As a manufacturer of ExtraCorporeal Circuit System Packs (ECC SP), ECM combines:
- Medical tubing sets (MTS) consisting of tubing, connectors, valves, and stopcocks / manifolds / spikes;
- Reservoirs;
- Specialized components such as pump heads, oxygenators, heat exchangers, and filters.
These components form a functional circuit that can be easily connected to equipment in the operating room. ECM recognizes the definition of the EU MDR for system and procedure packs, whereby all components are combined and sterilized in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
